DEEP TISSUE LASER THERAPY

Deep Tissue Laser Therapy accelerates your body’s own natural healing process through photo-bio-stimulation. Laser therapy is effective in treating chronic conditions, acute conditions and post surgical pain.

How Does Deep Tissue Laser Therapy Work?

Due to its painless and powerful healing properties, lasers are becoming more popular in medical procedures. The light from a laser therapy session penetrates through the top levels of the skin into deeper tissue structures, working as a powerful anti-inflammatory treatment that can be just as effective as anti-inflammatory medications. This makes it effective for pain relief, increased blood flow and regulation, quicker wound healing, increased natural tissue regeneration, and reduced scarring.

Like all our treatments at Catalyst Spine & Sports Rehab, Deep Tissue Laser Therapy aims to utilize the body's existing healing abilities to help treat your symptoms and condition. Depending on your treatment plan and injury, we will take the *LightForce laser* device, apply it to the affected area either through contact or non-contact handpieces and the laser will work to penetrate the buildup of agitation in your body.  This will typically be done in a series of three to five, 10-minute sessions. Patients have indicated that the laser therapy is quite soothing and not painful at all.

This treatment is completely FDA approved and cleared and serves well as a suitable alternative to drug treatments and/or surgery.
